“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Stayed here during a walking weekend. The perfect place to return to after a long day in the outdoors. The owners were extremely welcoming and the rooms were spotless and tastefully presented. The beds were very comfortable. The best thing, however, was the breakfast! Fresh fruits, quality ingredients, and views over the surrounding countryside. Hope we can return soon.

My elderly mother and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashbury and would definitely return. Our rooms were on the ground floor, together with the dining room, so access was extremly easy. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable and attractively furnished. The breakfasts provided a great deal of choice of good quality food and most especially, everything possible was homemade......Jams,marmalade;bread;biscuits in the room and the cake we were offered on our arrival. Graham and Karen were warm, friendly and helpful and very enthusiastic. They deserve to do really well. Go and stay!

Ashbury's excellent reviews are well- deserved; great host and hostess, good facilities, spotlesssly clean, big choice for breakfast, lovely ensuite room. Ideal base for exploring Malvern and surrounding area. We will certainly return next time we're in Malvern.

We've just spent two very comfortable nights at this lovely B&B in the Malvern Hills. The owners, Graham and Karen, have given lots of thought to both their product and service to ensure the comfort of their guests. Welcoming, friendly, spotlessly clean. Charming accommodation with comfortable bed, good quality furnishings and a modern and spacious en-suite.

On arrival we were offered (and enjoyed) tea and home-made lemon cake in the garden - the cake was gorgeous! In our room we were supplied with home-made biscuits and a decanter of Malvern water, in addition to the usual teas and coffees, etc. We were also offered fresh milk which we could have had in place of the mini-UHT cartons. Good quality guest toiletries too.

Breakfast looked and tasted good, and our hosts kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us on one of the two mornings we were there. There is a fridge for guests' use and somewhere to hang wet jackets. Also a table at which you may make yourself to comfortable if you bring food in. Being local Karen and Graham are able to provide lots of information on the area, which is a big plus.

This lovely house is just a short walk into Great Malvern or into the hills and there is adequate private car parking. Ashbury Bed and Breakfast deserves to succeed. We will certainly stay again when next in the Malvern area.

The hospitality and friendliness of the couple who run this B&B were second to none. The room was superb and the breakfast exceptionally good, the dining room had a lovely view too. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Malverns. It is conveniently located near the hills, the town and some good restaurants.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, one twin and one double, they are both of very high standard

We stayed for one night at the Ashbury. Graham and Karen were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We had a nice chat with them on arrival and departure. Ashbury is in a quiet street and has adequate off street parking. It is not too far to the centre of Great Malvern.

We stayed in the Green Room on the ground floor which was comfortable and nicely decorated. The ensuite facilities were new, clean and well laid out. Breakfast was in an upstairs room with a view which was nicely informal but breakfast could be taken downstairs if anyone had problems using the stairs. Plenty of variety on offer at breakfast with full English cooked to order.

We have friends in Malvern and when visiting again we will definitely use Ashbury. Highly recommended.

The owners of this B&B are delightful. Very welcoming. The B&B itself (the green room) is lovely and well renovated. very nice bathroom and extremely comfy bed. Can't say a bad word about it. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Green room is nice for couples or if you want to spread out a bit on your own.
