Just returned from a lovely 3 day break staying at this beautiful hotel. It was a holiday for my mum who celebrated her 89th birthday while we were there. The staff were wonderful and mum felt thoroughly spoilt having a birthday cake and a chorus of "Happy Birthday" sung to her by the staff. The food was amazing and the rooms beautiful. A great hotel in a lovely part of the world.

How on earth have I lived in Malvern for the past 20 odd years and never found this place, an absolute Gem. Some of the finest dining of my 50 something years, warm and welcoming. Offering what I always thought Malvern had been lacking - but it hasn't because it's been here at the Cotford all this time !! Highly, highly recommended to make you feel special. Thank you everyone at The Cotford, it's not just a hotel/restaurant it's an experience

Everything a family run hotel/restaurant should be. A warm welcome, spotless rooms, fine dining and that little extra which is so hard to define.Barbara & Chris may be the {impressive] driving force but where would they be without their young treasure Evan !
Thank you all

Another visit to this superb little hotel and its no less superb restaurant. Convenient location and peaceful garden. Comfortable and and a warm welcome from Barbara and Chris. The room this time had more space than last time. Hector the dog is a fixture And I would go a long way just to have the liver at dinner!

Spent five nights here from 22nd to 27th Sept and can't praise Chris, Barbara and all the staff enough. The food is exceptional and we would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful very efficiently run hotel.

This place is OK but needs a facelift. Our tiny room and bathroom were very clean, but no room to swing the proverbial cat. Of particular difficulty was the very small bed that was meant to be a double but nowadays would be badged as a large single in a furniture shop, resulting in a squashed up night's sleep. We tolerated it for a night but it was far too claustrophobic to ever consider staying again unless we got a much more generous room. The breakfast was nice though. The hotel also has a wonderful dog; huge and extremely friendly.

Thank you for your comments, however, as I've commented previously, there is little we can do about making the rooms/beds bigger in a building of this age and build and also to retain all the furniture/comforts you'd expect. Also we do have a king and super-king available upon request providing it hasn't already been booked out. I trust this helps towards your concerns.

Where to start praising this hotel!!!
Has to be the staff. From first walking through the door on arrival to, sadly, walking out on departure staff and management were superb.
Our room was... perfect. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. And stylishly decorated.
Food next.
Breakfast was.... amazing. Quality food and quality service.
Evening meal. Im stuggling to find the right superlatives to use. Starters, mains, desserts... were amazing... A tad expensive but well worth the price.

Would we stay here again? Yes yes yes.. and yes we would, and hopefully will..

And to finish.. The "boss", Barbara, is a superb host. She makes you feel like your part of the Cotford family.

Wow ! and job-done.. as the saying goes! Thank you so much . It means so much to all of us ( staff inc) when someone give such an appraisal rather than picking up on the smallest negative point just to have a gripe. We aren't perfect, we aren't a 5 star hotel, but we love our little piece of Malvern and so appreciate it when others do as well.
Kindest regards and hope to see you again soon,
Chris and Barbara
