A Delightful old building with peculiarity of character and quaint but very slow service.
We had two mushroom omelettes and a small English Breakfast sitting by the fire on the uneven floors.
My friend tried a apple ginger beer and I had a pot of tea which went to three cups served in a beautiful pot with matching cup saucer and milk jug.
Would visit again but only just made it back to the car within the hour thus avoiding a parking ticket

I had a cheese and onion sandwich which was ok but just on sliced bread, maybe as it was new year they had no crusty bread. My partner had a cheese scone which she loved. Worth a short wait if there is a queue.

We keep going back to these tearooms on the hill in Church Street, Great Malvern, because they're always so inviting and the food, most of which seems home-made, is delicious. We particularly enjoyed the savoury scones on our last visit, warm with cottage cheese and salad. The furniture is quaint and "wobbly" and and we like to think of when Edward Elgar and George Bernard Shaw used to sit there in earlier times, enjoying their tea and cakes ! Elgar's statue stands just across the road. Good place for a relaxing snack.

We came here for tea and cake. We weren't greeted with a smile or hello or any other pleasantries except `Are you ready to order?`, and then seemed a little put out that I asked what cakes were available. We were seated on a wonky table, tea and cake took a while to arrive. Cake was absolutely delicious, the crockery was very cute and the tea ok however it was not the relaxing visit I was hoping for.
