“Great location, friendly hosts, comfortable cottage”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

We stayed at Cowleigh Park Farm in Farmhouse Cottage twice this year - a week in July and a weekend in September. Very pleased to have discovered it.

The location in North Malvern is perfect for roaming the hills and equally convenient for a trip into Worcester. Farm grounds are fun for children (those with tinies and non-swimmers should note there is a large shallow pond at the end of the garden).

Hosts Ruth and Luke are very helpful and friendly. Farmhouse Cottage is well equipped, roomy (especially bedrooms) and comfortable. And the taps run Malvern spring water!

My fiance and I recently stayed at Cowleigh Park Farm for 1 night in our quest for a wedding venue in the area. We found the overall experience very pleasant from booking the room online through to the accommodation and breakfast. Ruth was very nice, she also recommended a restaurant for dinner in Great Malvern which turned out to be lovely.
The room was spacious, clean and warm, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fully stocked. On a Value vs. Money scale, Cowleigh ranks very high!
I highly recommend Cowleigh Park Farm and I will use it again when in the area.

Ruth and her family and team were extremely welcoming and I think I had the most comforatbel bed in te world. My room was unique - complete with a bit of history in the bathroom where a watlte and daub wall had been exposed. Breakfast was perfect - scrambled egss and smoked salmon. Very highly recommended.

Booked my two children in here for a family reunion - in their 20s by the way. Arrived late after a meal locally to be personally met by Ruth with warmth and efficiency. They loved the historic rooms, quality features and comfy experience. Raved about the smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast and can't wait to visit again. Can't recommend more highly - thanks Ruth

Myself and 4 friends stayed here before competing in the local Mud Run. The service was excellent. Breakfast was hearty and very tasty, (great vege alternative for myself!). Rooms were comfy with great amienities. The building itself was stunning. 16th century and with all the features to proove it.

Lovely home made scones, jam and coffee on arrival - nice touch!

Friendly and attentive does not do Cowleigh Park enough justice. Even the dog seemed to have read the job description and was also a pleasure to be around!

Have just returned from an amazing weekend at Cowleigh Park Farm. There were eight of us in total so we pretty much took over the whole place. Ruth & Luke were the perfect hosts, very hospitable , providing a warm welcome with tea & lemon drizzle cake on arrival. After a great walk up the hill to walk off the cake accompanied by their very friendly dog Libby, we returned to freshly made scones & jam!
Ruth had also made us a booking in local pub (The Nags Head)in the evening which was a twenty minute walk away - well worrth a visit.
The rooms had a true cottagey feel to them, very comfortable, warm, clean & all with ensuites which were new. There were trays with tea, coffee, chocolate & biscuits on.
The breakfast was excellent freshley cooked to order & plentiful.
Unfortunately the weather was not brilliant when we were there so not much walking was achieved but we did visit Worcester & Malvern - both very good. The best part is that we will have to return again to walk the hills, see the views & enjoy the hospitality of Ruth & Luke again!

We had a fantastic time - We stayed in the Cider Press which was perfect as it gave us some privacy and a bit more space. Ruth (the owner) was fantastic and could not do enough to help, she even agreed to cook us breakfast even though we were staying in the self catering bungalow. Great location, just out of town but has a pub in walking distance, great views, clean, everything worked and a very friendly dog thrown in. If we are ever back in Malvern this would be the first choice.
