We read the reviews and needed a bed on the south side of Malvern. All the comments were as described. Food delicious, views spectacular and the hosts delightful. Due to the weather we had to travel and pick up our son a day early, and Ruth kindly found space for him in her son's room. Booked before we left for a return trip in June. Thank you for a relaxing stay and look forward to seeing you both soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Croque. It is a beautifully kept grand house located at the foot of the Malvern Hills. The hosts, Ruth and Ian, are amazingly welcoming and helpful and Ruth cooks a great breakfast! A truly great B&B on every level and we would love to stay again in the future. Thanks Ruth x

Just had a fab weekend at the Old Croque. It's exactly as all the other reviewers describe - a lovely home, super comfortable, fantastic attention to detail, immaculately clean, with the nicest hosts you could imagine. Oh and the breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of foods including home made bread, muesli and preserves as well as the full cooked done to perfection. There are only 3 bedrooms yet guests have exclusive use of an enormous sitting room with a log fire, big comfy sofas, and bay window seats looking across the valley. Ruth hits the spot with her great conversation, good humour, knowledge and wit. She's relaxed and easy going and happy to chat, advise of places to go & things to do. Can't recommend the Old Croque highly enough. Our only disappointment was that we forgot to buy a jar of the 4 fruits marmalade that Ruth sells for charity - we'll just have to go back.

We had another amazing stay at Ruth and Ian's fab b&b. I was travelling with my elderly parents who enjoyed every moment of their stay. From the home made scones to the incredibly comfortable beds and then those amazing breakfast, it was all perfect.

Our luggage was delayed and Ruth lent my son clothes for his interview at school and saved the day. My other son often stays here on his way back to school and both Ruth and Ian could not possibly do more to make him feel at home and happy.

I cannot say enough good things about the Old Croque. Thank you Ruth and Ian, once again!!!

See you in August!!!

Stayed at The Old Croque as it was a convenient location for my sisters birthday party across the road but so glad we booked it. Ruth greeted us with a cup of tea and carrot cake - wow. We were made to feel very welcome. The house was fantastic with magnificent views and our room on the top floor was lovely with an en suite which i would have liked to have brought home with me. The roll top bath was a very nice experience. Breakfast was lovely with lots of chopped fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, full english and crusty bread toast. Nothing was too much trouble and i wouldn't hesitate in booking again next time i am visiting the area.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, the scones and tea allowed us to stop and refresh after our journey. Yum Yum.

Ruth and Ian are lovely people who took every opportunity to make sure our stay was enjoyable, from pointing us in the right directions for a curryfest in Malvern, to a fantastic day on Sat, The Much Machel festival, "The Big Apple". A village community event arranged around apple cider. Highly recommended even if youre not a cider lover the demonstrations and stalls O and a proper ploughmans.

The Old Croque is a lovely family house beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home.

Ruth - Ian thank you.

Room Tip: Speak to Ruth, the view from the lilac room is fantastic.
