“good again.”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

I don't normally like pubs like this but this place is excellent, they let dogs in the front room, serve excellent beer, free wifi and excellent food, nice fish and chips Deb had the gammon she thought it was a bit salty but we never use salt so others may think it to be fine.

“Returning customers, The Swan never let's us down!”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

We travel to The Swan and it's always worth the journey. My boyfriend and I love the atmosphere and food at this place. All round nice place with nice food and the staff are attentive. The only downside is the lack of parking.

“Convivial country pub”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

The Swan was highly recommended and I can see why. There are 4 or 5 good restaurants in Broadway, yet when we visited, the Swan had more people than all of the other establishments combined. The restaurant is sensibly separated from the main bar. Semi-formal, but still rustic. The staff are all local and extremely friendly. The menu gives a nod to the traditional gastro pub fare, but a little adventurousness turns a good pub meal into a special one. Starters include Pan-fried Lamb Kidneys, Honey Roasted Fig and Prosciutto ham and Sautéed Portobello and Oyster Mushrooms. The mains include Slow-braised Shoulder of Lightly Spiced Welsh Lamb and Roasted Breast of Duck, with dauphinoise potatoes, butternut squash, curly kale
and an orange & Grand Marnier sauce. The wines by the glass are fun. There is also a cocktails list (both alcoholic and not), and a free drinks voucher available on their website. Very enjoyable.

“Excellent lunch”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Visited for Sunday lunch. Very good service and food. Reasonable prices for Roast Turkey dinner and Sticky spicy chicken at £9 each. Portions generous. Chocolate mousse to share for extra £3. House wine under £15 and fine. Busy with good atmosphere. Would return if in area again.
