“Highly recommend this beautiful cottage”
Reviewed December 7, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Having visited Broadway at christmas time for the past few years, we were familiar with the area but wanted something more than a bed and breakfast to stay in as our grandson was visiting with us this year. Top Cottage was everything we hoped for and more!

The location of the cottage is perfect, just off the high street, allowing easy access to shops and restaurants, whilst still being quiet and secluded. The cottage offered a comfortable base for our trip and the log burner in the living area gave a really cosy feel. The whole cottage was immaculately presented and we felt at home immediately.

We will definitely be booking up for Christmas shopping again next year!

We look forward to welcoming you and your family for next year's Christmas shopping and hopefully for some years to come! Broadway is beautiful at any time of the year, but particularly at Christmas. We love Top Cottage and it makes us very happy when our guests clearly feel the same way.

“What a gem”

This was our first time in the Cotswolds and our first holiday as a family (our son was 6 months old at the time). We had a wonderful time and were very impressed with the beautifully presented and well located cottage. A few steps down the alley and straight onto the main street, close to the post office, pubs, restaurants and supermarket. Wifi signal is very good too.
The cottage owner was very quick to respond to any queries and was particularly helpful regarding check in and out times taking into consideration what it is like to have a very young child!
The only points we felt we should make to help other guests in the future is that we found parking to be a little tight, particularly for a larger vehicle, but we did always manage to get parked as there is a space allocated on the lane. The only other issue was that we had to buy our own wood for the fire as there was only a couple of logs to get us started. Unfortunately because we had a car full of baby things, we were unable to take the logs with us which was a shame as we have a log burner at home.
W really enjoyed the cottage, its location and the housekeeper was a lovely lady too. We hope to return to the area in the future as it is absolutely stunning.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review and we're so glad that your stay went so well and that you enjoyed your first holiday as a new family. I'm pleased that you liked Top Cottage and appreciated it's fantastic location. Maybe we'll see you again - next time your son will be old enough to enjoy the wonderful play area in Broadway.

“Top Cottage - Top Class!”
Reviewed November 18, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

A delightful cottage - with great access for that all Broadway has to offer. The cottage is homely, well equipped and was immaculately cleaned and prepared for our arrival. We (three sisters) took the little steam train from Teddington to Cheltenham races (no winners!) which was an experience in itself. We had an excellent dinner on our first evening at the Swan Hotel - the food was far beyond our expectations - well worth booking. On Saturday evening we wined and dined at Russell's. Again, great food, ambience and a very welcoming and enthusiastic owner. Broadway is a delightful village with an interesting selection of shops and eateries not a High Street chain in sight We were drawn to the Deli on the High Street again, and again and again. The Broadway Hotel provided us with a very enjoyable snack lunch on Sunday after a stroll around the shops. Top Cottage as our base certainly added to our comfort and enjoyment of our weekend.

“Lovely Stay -- Comfy Clean Cottage that is well located”
Reviewed October 16, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I really enjoyed my stay at Top Cottage. It is perfectly located and I would rent it again. The house is very comfortable, the little fireplace is most welcoming and the heat/hot water are both plentiful. So nice to have an easy thermostat control for the heat. The garden is small and carefree with lovely morning sunshine. The bedrooms are cozy and the main bath is very useable. The cottage is well-maintained and the local housekeeper is very friendly.

The owner was excellent about answering questions and providing pre-stay and in-house information. Unlike some rentals, the number of "rules" were reasonable and not overwhelming. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed and useable.

“Perfect holiday cottage”
Reviewed September 2, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed here for a short break at the end of August. Gorgeous cottage in the perfect location. Very glad we chose Broadway as we found it wasn't as touristy as some of the other villages we visited. We had a very warm welcome on arrival as was greeted by a dog bowl, towel and treat for our very happy dog. There was also flowers and a lovely lemon cake which was much appreciated. The cottage has been very well decorated and had everything we needed. It has a lovely cosy homely feel and we enjoyed our time there. You're close to the high street and minutes walk from everything in Broadway. Lots of choice on your doorstep for food and drink, a supermarket 2 minutes walk away and lots of things to do close by. We walked to Broadway Tower, visited local villages, even found time for a spa treatment at the nearby Dormy Hotel. Ate at Russell's, The Swan, Broadway Hotel and The Crown and Trumpet, no shortage of choice. Would recommend anyone coming to the area stays in Top Cottage it really is perfect!

“Great cosy cottage in beautiful Broadway”
Reviewed June 28, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed at Top Cottage for a week in June - great cottage with a homely feeling. We settled in straight away! Very clean and well set out. Broadway is beautiful - the great independent shops and restaurants are only a short stroll away from the cottage. Food wise I would recommend the Deli and also venturing out to Burton on the Water for some lovely cafés by the water (great views too). We will be recommending Top Cottage to our family and friends!
