There is a very nice view of the surrounding area from the top of the Tower. Good restaurant as well. There is a small charge to go to the top of the tower.

Very nice for picnics and walks but don't plan a whole day around visiting the tower otherwise as it really is only a tower with three rooms and a nice rooftop. Not wheelchair accessible.

This is definitely worth visiting if you're in the Cotswolds, although ideal on a clear day. The tower is open from 10am and I'd recommend being there at that time as visitors arrive thick and fast from then on. You can walk up from the village nearby, but as we drove to the tower, I can't say where you start from. There is a very nice cafe and car park near the tower, both of which are reasonably priced. It's about £5 to go up the Tower, which was quite fair as there are exhibitions on each floor on the way up. Get there when it has just opened to have more of a chance of having the top of the tower to yourself for good photographic opportunities.

The view was fantastic a little expensive to climb the tower but our option as a free public footpath goes by the tower

Spent a great afternoon looking around and up the tower. The small museum has displays on each of the three floors of the tower and was most interesting. There were different access staircases for going up and coming down so there were no jams on the stairs.
Outside on top the views were wonderful- into Wales and Buckinghamshire.
The undulating farmland around the tower is beautiful and another time it would be a good place to go on some of the walks from there.
