“Lovely walk and views”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

The view from the top of the hill and the tower is fantastic. There are some lovely walks nearby and a great place to visit in the spring / summer.

The most fantastic views from the midlands to the North, Oxfordshire to the East Worcester and welsh borders to the west, Bristol to the South.; and a fantastic gallery of stories throughout its history on all floors.

“Cheese Scones to die for!”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Our sunday treat, walk up to the Tower and fresh soup and a cheese scone, then walk back down into Broadway. This place used to be a bit of a dump iguana in a tank (yes really), but now it's been transformed into a trendy and smart restuarant. They don't even mind muddy boats.

“Beautiful views from Tower”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

Visited during Summer months, when you get that odd day that you say, let get the picnic basket out and find somewhere. Well this is the ideal place, set in beautiful countryside close to places like Winchcombe. We had a lovely picnic sitting under trees near a cafe on the site, which I seem to remember had a live monitor lizard (or did I dream that). Anyway the tower itself was built by a rich Victorian I believe who wanted to leave his mark on the landscape. Lots of exhibits inside and twisty staircases (children love) with a nice little gift shop at the bottom.

The tower can be seen for miles and on a clear day you can see for miles too.
Should not be missed. Also not the WW11 observation post nearby and the very enthusiastic "warden" whose passion you cannot but absorb.
