“A unique experience”
Reviewed February 17, 2012

We spent two days at this idyllic farmhouse near Broadway in the Cotswolds. It was entirely different from any other B&B experience we've had. Helen, the owner, is one of the most hospitable people you could meet - she can't do enough for you and her attention to detail in the presentation of the room, breakfast and cleanliness is fantastic. You are treated as personal guests more than simply paying customers looking for somewhere to sleep.

A heart-warming and very pleasurable experience that we are certain to repeat.

We spent four days in the Cotsowlds staying at Mount Pleasant farm. The location of the B&B is great. Close to most of the attractions of this wonderful part of Britain. The welcome was warm and sincere. From that point on it remained a perfect place. Helen could not have done more for us. Tea and biscuits on the lawn when we arrived. Rooms are spacious, clean and have views over the coutryside. Would highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed for one night , was greeting on arrival with tea and home made cake in the lovely communal lounge, our room was clean and comfortable with great views over the countryside , the stay was very tranquil and relaxing and the breakfast was superb , fresh bread and home grown tomatoes along with the usual english. We can't wait to revisit, the surrounding area is beautiful thanks for a fantastic experience and a good nights kip, beats premier inns anyday.

We were VERY lucky to find this haven of peace, comfort and excellent food, all the pleasures of a spacious handsome home in the farmlands, and above all the utterly delightful welcoming friendliness, helpfulness and thoughtful kindness -- and the lively good nature -- of our hostess and her husband. Up on the 3rd floor we had a super sense of eagles'-eyrie-view from our excellently appointed room, and our fellow-travellers one floor down were just as charmed by their accommodation. We couldn't have wanted a happier introduction to the Vale of Evesham. Mrs Perry, you and your home have given us a memory of pure good feeling that other b&bs, wherever we travel, will find an extremely hard act to follow.

Room Tip: Higher rooms = better views (though more steps...)

Helen made us feel so welcome and her attention to detail in the rooms was amazing. Excellent selection of toiletries and bathroom supplies and supurb light on the stomach fully cooked breakfast. On arrival tea and cake was supplied and fresh scones every day for our drive around. The location was very quiet and restful. All in all a great stay.

Room Tip: Just ask Helen - if you are tall she will accommo.
