We are so very happy that we stayed at Rose Cottage in Dorney with our family for our recent get together. It was just as charming in person as the photos showed. Each room and each corner of the home was so sweet and interesting as well as large, well appointed and very comfortable. I would stay here any time and the memory will be among the top accommodations we have ever had the joy of experiencing. Beds were cozy and comfortable. Every item was perfect. I wish my words were as clever and charming as the cottage was to us. Please go- you will love your stay.

“Awesome”
Reviewed April 27, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

From the moment we stepped into Rose cottage it had a homely feel. The owner is nearby and very helpful. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Our sole purpose for our visit was to take our grandson to legoland for an awesome adventure, so it suited our purposes very well. Otherwise it is close to all the local amenities and a good base for various tourist attractions. Nearby there is something for everyone. It would be our first choice of accommodation if we visit the area again

“lovely 16th century cottage with lots of Charm”
Reviewed April 25, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My parents,my brother & girlfriend, my partner & I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, immaculate cottage. We had fantastic weather so we were able sit in the garden or in the Orangery which was ideal. We were able to relax in the lounge in the evenings & the beds were very comfortable. The bath was amazing! There are some lovely walks nearby along the river & round Dorney Lake. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage. It is a stone throw away from Eton and Windsor. we ate one evening at the Palmer arms very nice meal and only a 15 min walk from the cottage. Cream tea at Dorney court is a must.
My Father is slight disabled the facilitates in the cottage with the downstairs bedroom and ensuite were ok for him to use.
watch the low beams if you are over 6ft, The cottage has lots of charm and the basket of goodies left was a lovely touch.

“Absolutely perfect place to stay for family trip to Windsor”
Reviewed December 5, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

A beautiful cottage , well equipped and very close to Eton for parking to visit Windsor. Spotless comfortable accommodation , just right to begin the day with breakfast in the orangery and finish in the cosy lounge. Dorney is also an interesting area to see and the cottage is so convenient to travel to being close to the M4 junction. Thank you very much to Jill and her family for making my Mum's 90th birthday trip so enjoyable

“Wonderful cottage”
Reviewed October 31, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We spent 4 days here, mainly so that we could visit legoland and Windsor with our grandchildren and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The cottage had plenty of room for us and the children inside, with the family upstairs and ourselves in the conservatory with a proper mattress on a sofabed. The cottage is very pretty outside and in - featuring a range cooker on which our son-in-law cooked a full roast lunch. It is very convenient for the M4 although there is some noise but not enough to be intrusive. The owner Jill was very helpful, providing a lovely selection of treats to welcome us. A very good pub, The Pineapple, is just opposite which provides an enormous range of sandwiches, Sainsburys is not far away and yet one feels in the country with lovely walks too and an easy drive into Eton.

“We couldn't have found a better place to stay!”
Reviewed October 29, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We were in the UK in August for a family wedding at Taplow House. Rose Cottage was the perfect location for our stay and to entertain various members of the extended family. Jill was very welcoming and extremely accomodating of our needs and the property gave us easy acces to Windsor where the other half of the wedding party was based and very close to Taplow House which was the wedding venue. The property has a very nice solarium and large garden which were perfect for the bridal shower and a group barbecue reception the evening of the wedding. You do need a car but shopping is only a few minutes away and the motorway is easily accessible as well. The regional walking path is accessible on foot and don't miss breakfast at the Dorney Court farm shop & café. The cottage is a really interesting historic building and as long as you are ready to watch your head and duck at appropriate times it is a fabulous spot to stay.

“Charming!”
Reviewed September 28, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Beautiful cottage with charming character and ideally situated for Windsor and legoland. The weather wasn't on our side during our stay, which was a shame not to use the garden and conservatory which adds to the property. Owners Jill and Bill were very friendly and on hand when needed. Thank you.
