After taking this tour earlier in the year i cannot believe that the last shocking comment is about the same tour which i took, i found the guides to be very knowledgeable about all manner of things pertaining to the castle and the surrounding areas,i found the story of hern the hunter particularly interesting, i also asked one of my guides about facts and history surrounding windsor and found him to be a very knowledgeable and friendly person , at the conclusion of the tour i felt as though i had been looked after and gained knowledge of windsor which if i had not been on the tour i would have missed out on. As i only had a brief time in the town i only hope that any further visitors to windsor will take this tour and enjoy it as much as i did. many thanks to Richard and Murray i hope to return to your wonderful town again someday.

Thank ian c

It was a good night educational I got some good pictures of spirits. If you take any pictures look for what you can't see take a close look on a iPad or tablet see what you can see when you zoom in

We booked for just a handful of friends and the guide was very accommodating to the time and pick up location we needed to work with other activities planned. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and most importantly for such an outing, a very good story teller (without overdoing it)! Thank you for a great evening.

What a great night and I have now changed my mind, Some really scary stuff happened at a place where Anne Groom used to live before she past away..the grave yard was great loads of the group opened up about stuff they had seen (without being shy) If anybody want's a great night out in Windsor give it a go if you are brave enough...

First of all, booking this tour proved to be difficult. The website gives a cellphone number that I left two messages on but didn't receive a response to, and the email address given bounced back my enquiry. The tour's Facebook page gives a different email address which also did not work and a booking was finally made by sending a message via their Facebook page.

We were told to meet outside the Horse and Groom pub by Windsor Castle and were met by two very casually dressed men, one of which was chewing a sweet and who throughout the tour dipped into a plastic bag and continued to eat sweets while talking to us. We were asked to pay upfront and were asked for a higher amount per person than was listed on their website. As for the tour itself, each individual in our group was disappointed with the storytelling, professionalism, attitude and general atmosphere encouraged by our guides. A most unconvincing medium and his friend joined the group at the start, as did a woman who knew the men and played the role of enthusiastic tour-goer, attempting to drum up interest in the tour's participants. Each place you're taken to is given a cursory and short monologue on the supernatural occurances associated with that place. We visited the small cemetery where we were pressed for information on our own supernatural experiences rather than being told of anything happening there. We spent five minutes outside the gates of Windsor Castle by the Long Walk where one of the tour guides decided to light up a cigarette. There were no attempts at telling a good, scary story, no dramatic flourishes and what was said certainly wasn't scary despite the promising subject matter.

Windsor is a promising location ripe for an interesting and spooky tour about its ghostly inhabitants, but you won't find that experience on this tour. Avoid like the plague.
