this hotel is a dream for little kids.I never got so many hugs from my 8 year old boy as i did in our time at this hotel and indeed the park, he just loved it all everything from the lego shaped chips at the buffet to the box of lego left in the room for him to play with. The rooms are really nicely decorated and brought a smile to everyone we had a corner room on the top floor an adventure room the kids had there own bunk bed room and we had a lovely quite large comfortable double bed and my teenage daughter also had a very comfortable double convertor sofa bed, so loads of room for everyone. the buffet if i'm honest is pretty rubbish but it didn't matter the younger kids loved it and thats all that mattered it was their day my only real problem with the buffet was they were very slow with refilling the food trays they let them reduce down to the very last item then they would fill it so you could go up and find nothing and then 10 minutes later there would be a full tray of fresh food it was the same for the desserts we got very little dessert choice and then as we were leaving it had been filled. Anyway if you go to this hotel with an open mind and know that its the best hotel your young kids will have ever stayed in specifically designed for them then you will come out happy too.

We spent one night at the Legoland Resort Hotel as part of a package which also gave us two days in the park. Luckily the weather had deterred quite a few people so checking in was simple and fast. There is lots to keep the children occupied as soon as you enter the reception area as there was a big pool of Lego bricks to play with and daily competitions for best built models. We had a standard Kingdom room and it was absolutely great, The lift itself getting to the room was entertaining and the themed carpets throughout were very amusing. The room was very spacious there was a double bunk bed in the childrens area with a TV, a bathroom separated the childrens 'room' from the adult 'room' which was very well planned. The Lego themed models situated around the room and the general decor was all in keeping with the Kingdom them and I felt like a big kid, great fun! There is a room quiz which leads to a combination number to a treasure chest in the room which if you succeed at you are rewarded with a Lego treat. A lovely way to welcome you to the hotel. We visited the swimming pool area and although not huge the pool is big enough to have a swim and the water play area with slides and water cannons was great fun! The restaurant is situated next to the childrens area so does not guarantee you the most quiet and relaxing of meals but in a kids resort what do you really expect. There was plenty of meal selections and it was all buffet style so you could help yourself to as much as you liked, soft drinks included. Breakfast was similar and was of very good quality. It was also great to have the park right on the door step and a couple of the rides open early for half an hour to the exclusive use of hotel guests.
The only negative thing of note was that the water system in the room was a bit on the noisy side so that when our neighbours used the bathroom we knew it !! I would definitely visit again!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be of a very high quality in decor, one overlooking the actual park woul...

Stayed in a pirate room and had a great experience.
The room was well themed and the kids lover it even though it wasn't the premium room. Separate area with bunk beds and tv for the kids which they loved. Loads of nice touches around the room, including a small lego gift.
There is a great play area beside the bar and restaurant which gets great use and lets the adults chill in the bar. It also has very good entertainment each evening.
Staff were very helpful all around.
Bricks restaurant is pretty average to poor but is also over priced which doesn't help.

Ultimately you are paying for the experience and proximity to the park. I would definitely recommend the hotel is visiting the park for more than 1 day.

Stayed for my sons 8th Birthday in the Pirate Room everything of high standard and quality but weather was freezing 5 degrees (stayed last year same time was 25 degrees). Hotel is as clean, friendly and standards high as last year maybe pricey as opposed to other deals in area but hotel is on the park and you get in park early, so if prepared to get up then there are no queues on the popular rides. Only gripe was coffee machines at breakfast ran out of milk and never got refilled plus bread ran out and was not refilled (was end of breakfast :( .....)

Room Tip: Evening meal buffet seems expensive but if you stick to soft drinks and coffee, then there is multip...

We stayed at the Legoland Windsor Hotel on Friday 5th April. We booked a Premium Kingdom room with the dinner upgrade and this included the 1 day+1 day free entry to the park. We arrived at around 2pm and were given cards to allow us to access hotel facilities and gain access to the park. The cards let you use the lifts and get through the doors. We had a walk around the park for an hour before going back to the hotel to get our room keys.
The room was good - well themed and the children loved it, especially doing the treasure hunt to gain access to the treasure chest. There were nice little touches like a tub of lego to play with and a hotel competitiion to build a pyramid ( we didn't win but we tried!).
We found the room great, except for the noise at night as we were directly above an air con unit. We were in room 104 ( which i noticed someone else mentioned as noisy). There was other noise at night from people moving around the hotel and flushing toilets, etc but the air con unit was constant.
We took advantage of the pool and water play area at about 6pm which was supposed to be a quiet time - it wasn't empty but not over-full.
The restaurant was well set up for families as we could choose what we wanted from an ok choice and go back for seconds if wanted. We ate at 8pm and I did feel that they had stopped replenishing the food which was a shame but there was still plenty and the children were happy. We had opted for the dinner upgrade. Breakfast was much better as we got down for about 8pm when it was just starting to get busy. There was also entertainment in the area directly outside of the restaurant for most of the evening til about 9pm which was lively.
The park opened at 9.30 for hotel guests with 2 rides being open - Atlantis and the Dinosaur safari car thing, then the rest of the park at 10am. We bought a Qbot to help us make the most of our visit and it would have been useful to have been able to get one from the hotel to save time later.
We were able to check out by 10am ( can do quick checkout from room but didn't work) and then leave our car in the hotel car park all day which was a pleasant surprise. If you have your luggage tagged when you arrive you can leave it in your room and collect it from the concierge when you leave but we just put ours straight in the car before we went into the park.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from Air con units -we were in room 104 which someone else has also mentioned as...

We have spent two days and one night at the Legoland Windsor theme park.
The room was nicely decorated, well equipped, clean and comfy, but I am not sure it's worth that much money.
We didn't try the restaurant at night, but the breakfast buffet was pretty average: a big noisy room, small tables, average chairs... The buffet was rich in variety, but average on quality, most of the warm buffet was mild at best.
