The Carpenters Arms is a traditional town centre pub. It is many hundreds of years old and attracts lots of tourists, but there is a strong local clientele too. This is primarily because the staff are friendly, the loos are clean and the peer is exceptionally good.

They have a regular churn of ales from small independent brewers, meaning every week you can find something new to try. The landlord knows how to look after the cellar and they are happy to let you try before you buy.

This excellent service is why the Carpenters has become a regular stop for us when we pop into Windsor town centre at the weekend.

Visited this lovely quaint pub of a lunchtime and evening. Lovely atmosphere, roaring fires & hubby says a good choice of ale. Choice of wines plentiful too.
A very pleasant time, relaxing at this blistering boozer.

We needed a very late Sunday lunch. Booked by phone, the staff v helpful. Welcomed knowledgeably on arrival. Sunday roast really quite good: lamb shanks generous portions, tender, delicious. Chicken good too. Sticky toffee pudding lavish portions, carefully presented, one of the best I've had. Staff all concerned to look after us.
