“Expensive”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

Legoland is a great place for Children who love Lego and would appreciate everything Lego. However the entrance fee and price of food and drinks does not represent value for money at any level. And that was with discount vouchers.

Once is enough for anyone.

Thank you for your post and review. We are pleased you enjoyed your visit. We are sorry to hear that the promotional discounts and food and beverage prices are not in line with your value for money expectations. We do hope we'll still be able to welcome you and your family again this year now the Park as re-opened.

“Nice family attraction spot especially for young children”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

If you are in England traveling with young children, I highly recommend a stop here. Its very fun, especially for children 4 to 12. It helps if your kids are into Legos, but not totally necessary! A very unique theme park that is geared around the lego legacy.

“Aimed at the Kids...clearly”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

We were probably the only people there that didn't have kids but we thought we would give it a try. We had a really fun day but as to be expected it was overrun with kids. Most of the rides were aimed at kids and that would of been ok if you didn't have to que hours for them. Still a fun day but for people our age their are better things in the surrounding area such as Chessington or Thorpe Park. If you go their with the fact its Legoland and its aimed at kids then you can still have fun. Just don't expect any big thrill rides. Some of the rides are brilliant though for example there is one where you climb into a submarine and travel through a real life aquarium. Very original and clever....despite the HUGE que. Fun.

“Fantastic for little ones”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We stayed at Legoland hotel and visited the park for my little girl's 3rd birthday and she absolutely loved it. We arrived at the hotel and were able to leave our bags with the concierge whilst we went into the park for the afternoon and when we returned in the evening, our bags were waiting in our room which I thought was a great service. The hotel was lovely and all the staff friendly. We took advantage of the swimming pool which, although small, entertained my little girl for an hour before we went to dinner. We had prebooked dinner which was a buffet style arrangement. I would say this was my only disappointment in that the food was nice but not brilliant but ideal for little ones as they can have a bit of whatever they fancy. The evening entertainement was good too with my little girl entranced by the Pink Brick character. The room was great and themed as a castle with lego finishing touches all over and lego in the room to keep us entertained. My little girl loved the bunk bed which was in a section of her own but still in the same room.

The park was not too busy when we went which was great as I had heard of tales of long queues but as we went on a Thursday/Friday in term time it was quiet. We got straight on many rides and the longest we queued was for the little lego cars which was around 15 minutes. The rides are definately not a thrill seekers paradise but for a 3 year old girl it was perfect and she even loved the faster rides which she was able to go on. Unfortunately she was just under the marker for some. I would say the park is ideal for 3 -10 year olds as the rides are at their level although I must say I did enjoy them too.

Must dos are the Atlantis ride complete with sealife, the laser shooting ride was fun, the spider waltzer style ride and the pirate show which were our favourites.
