“Ever eaten at a Gurkha?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

We had never eaten at a Nepalese restaurant before and we are glad we did. The food is really good and how you want it is no problem for the staff or chef. The staff are very attentive and are pleased to help. Our meal including drinks was £54.00. My wife was really happy which meant I was too. Well done to all at the Eye.

“Excellent food and service, bit rough around the edges”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

After glowing peer reviews we decided to go here for dinner and we were certainly not disappointed! Only one thing let it down which was the interior environment, it was really hot inside the restaurant, so they had the front door open which made it freezing for anyone sitting near it, there was also an extractor of some sort booming very loudly when the door was open which made it rather uncomfortable. That said I will definitely be going back! Hopefully the door is fixed.

“The best Nepalese restaurant in the UK”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

We dined here on Thursday evening . The service was excellent and the owner a very personable chap. I had the staff lamb curry which was truly delicious. My son (7) (mini Bond!) had sea bass and chilli garlic prawns which he loved. My wife had the chilli garlic chicken - spicy but yummy! We were made very welcome and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you for a lovely evening!
