We are regular diners here and visited recently with friends. Still as good as ever but noticed a few new items on the menu and the soft shell crab in particular impressed one of our group. As well as starters we shared aromatic crispy duck as a mid course so we asked for a pause before receiving our main courses - no problem. All the main dishes were excellent and generous portion sizes. With rice and noodles and three nice bottles of wine our bill for four came to around £30 a head which we felt was great value for money. We have noticed some negative comments about the staff from other reviewers but we have never noticed any lack of attention or "attitude" and we had yet another enjoyable evening at the Hong Kong and we will be back. The owner also mentioned that they will be celebrating Chinese New Year in February and took our details so we can be mailed.
