We stayed at Rainworth House as a convenient base to meet some people locally and also to travel into London for an exhibition. We recieved a lovely welcome, even though we must have surprised Doreen, as many more of us were at the door than had booked to stay. The room was extremely comfortable, with a lovely view of the rural surroundings and garden, and a palatial bathroom. Our room is about to be refurbished, but even so was pristine and very welcoming, and frankly I'd stay in it again without a second thought. When it's done to the standard of the rest of the house, it will be beautiful.
Downstairs there is a welcoming sitting room with lots of reading matter, though we didn't get time to sit much during our visit. Breakfast is done well, and as large as your appetite, so wake up hungry is my advice!
Rainworth house is really convenient for Windsor and the area, and good for London too. On the advice of Doreen, we parked at Slough Station and took a fast train to Paddington. We were at Excel in Docklands less than an hour after parking which in my experience is supersonic travel by London standards.
Highly recommended, you don't need to look any further. This is our home from home in the Windsor area.
