I had walked past this restaurant many times. The facade and name are quite awful ! If you do go inside however you will be rewarded with some real quality food. Although they have reduced the size of their menu, it still offers a range of options from simple Italian fayre (in my opinion the best type) to more imaginative dishes from Italy and Asia. Soups are always home made with decent stocks and simple plates of pasta are well cooked and spiced. Curries are great and quite unusual (Sri Lankan influence of the chef) and there are also a number of his individual creations. The small selection of wines are quite adequate and are very competitively priced.
Well worth a visit.
