We found this pub on Tripadvisor, after leaving a theme park down the road. The previous reviews were bang on. We had delicious food, cooked wonderfully and quickly, at a very reasonable price.
Between us we ordered several dishes from the menu, the pie of the day was delicious, full of meat. The homemade burger was terrific. And the Fish & Chips was almost too much to finish!
The pub looks amazing, open fire, low beams. It has real ale on tap, which is well kept.
If I were back that way again soon I would definitely go again, the garden area out front looked an ideal place to sit for an afternoon.
