Eating out for my family is challenging - we have a 6 year old coeliac daughter and a 8 year old diary/ egg allergic son. However, the Flaming Cow were amazing and catered for us brilliantly.
My daughter could choose a large selection of the normal menu and just swap the bun (Why don't more restaurants do that??) and my son thoroughly enjoyed his burger & chips.
The portions are huge, all reasonably priced and the food tastes FANTASTIC.
Above all though, the staff were really attentive & helpful and actually didn't make us feel uncomfortable about attempting to eat out with our kids, which for us is half the battle! Well done & thank you Flaming Cow. I only wished we lived closer....

We are at the restaurant and would say it was brilliant. I had the flaming cow classic burger and was delicious. The staff were very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

....possibly one of the best I've had! Service was excellent, staff were friendly, the drinks are unique, and the prices really aren't that bad.

We thought we had a favourite burger place, but then we visited the Flaming Cow and its now the best burgers in south east. Cooked to perfection, not too rare, not well done. I had the dirty cow, hubby had the redneck burger. We shared pizza fries. Yes pizza fries, not on the menu, off menu. Ask for it. Cheesy chips with marinara sauce and pepperoni.
We didn't try the hardshakes, it would have been just too much. A lot of food for your money. Great location on the river.
We'll be back. The waiters and waitress that served us were really friendly, and deserved the tip. Only critique is the place gets very hot. Maybe a hint to management to invest now in more air con machines before peak of summer hits.

We visited this relatively new eaterie on Monday 25th May to celebrate a family birthday, and what a great experience. The restaurant was packed, however we were all seated very quickly. The waitress appeared quickly delivered a jug of cold water for us all whilst we decided on what drinks to have and we had time to look through the appetising menu. Our order was taken efficiently and the waitress advised us on the specials for that evening. We did not have long to wait as our meals arrived quickly. We were all not disappointed at all as the portions were of a good size, enough to share.. no nouvelle cuisine here! the ribs were amazing with a sticky sauce that was stunning, and so hard to describe all of the flavours! I highly recommend the sweet potato fries and the deep house pickles along with the burgers the Redneck and Santa Fe especially. We will not wait too long to visit again as the staff were very efficient and friendly, the service was excellent and quick even considering that the restaurant was full and the food was Flaming Brilliant! Loved the decor too Well Done the Flaming Cow for making our first visit so memorable ...
