We stumbled across this by accident - there were lots of road works around and it wasn't very clear it was open. So glad we did not give it a miss as it was the best pub lunch we.ve had in a while!! The building boasts a date of AD1542 and has a wonderfully quaint and old interior. The Landlady was very warm and friendly and offered some interesting chat on their own legacy of the Olympic games..... Food was piled high and piping hot and the Real Ales on tap helped to wash it all down nicely!! Lovely setting and well worth the trip just across the bridge over the river if you are visiting Windsor Castle.
