Description: Since opening its doors in March 2007, Strada Salisbury has proven hugely popular with both locals and visitors to the area. The restaurant overlooks the market place and is within easy walking distance from the Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Cathedral. Strada Salisbury is a part of the well-known group of contemporary Italian restaurants located on the high street serving good quality, simple, freshly prepared dishes using the finest seasonal produce available. The menus offer hand stretched pizzas, fresh pastas and risotto, as well as grilled meat and fish dishes.

This has been a favourite haunt since they take the Tesco Reward Vouchers - a meal for six, without dessert and just a couple of light starters, costs about £90, we paid for that on the voucher system and then just £20 cash for all our drinks, so very good for the bank balance and social life.
However we feel that as the menu doesn't change we will now move on to another restaurant, especially as my favourite, the SALTIMBOCCA MAIALE, which has always in the past just melted in the mouth - was tough and rare with blood inside. This dish was deducted from our bill but it had put me off trying another dish. I agree with an earlier review regarding the main course being put on the table before the starter was digested. Very friendly, happy staff which is a pleasure to see.

My wife and I called in to this restaurant at about 6pm in order to take a break from driving on our way home from London to Weston super Mare via the pretty route (No motorways).
We were made welcome and seated in a quiet area. We chose a glass of Merlot for the wife and a Limonata for myself as I was driving. I Nearlry fell through the floor at the price of the soft drink £2.40 for a 330ml can. We ordered Napoli flatbread as a starter to share, which when it arrived (not very long) was piping hot and freshly baked. Before we had finished our first course the waitress arrived at the table with our main course (not good service as this made us feel rushed, despite it being early evening) We both had Cavatappi Polo which was really nice. For sweet we both had Limoncello trifle which was delicious. Overall it was an enjoyable meal however it could have been made better if the waitress had kept an eye on us to see if we had finished our starter before delivering the main course. Despite this I would recommend this restauarant and will visit it again when I am next in Salisbury

What a lovely little restaurant.

We had dinner out with friends and choose Strada on recommendation from others.

Did not disappoint, the service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. We were made welcome and didn't feel rushed to hurry our food.

There is something for everyone on the menu. With 4 adults eating 3 courses as well as alcoholic drinks the bill was surprisingly cheaper than expected.

Will definitely eat there again.

After the tour of the Cathedral and starting to drag a lot from our Houston, Tx. arrival with no sleep, we went to Strada's Italian restaurant by the Library in Market Square,It is an Italian restaurant with a short but very good and reasonable wine list.

We had lamb shanks, pasta del funghi, salad, sea bass, and a child's pasta plate with meatballs. The food was great as was the service and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very reasonable and a great way to end our first day in Salisbury.

Our first night in Salisbury, and there was little other than pubs open. This was bright and looked clean. Inside, there were many local people, so the sound level was quite high. The food was acceptable - nothing special, and the service was rapid, but I had the distinct feeling that they wanted to close. And unfortunately, there appeared to be a permanent draught in the restaurant. We felt quite chilled by the time we left.
