We found the plain easily enough using SatNav and asked the man on the gate where the church was. We had to follow the road through the army training ground for approximately 3 miles until we came to the church. Look out for the tanks and houses used for training purposes.
The church itself is interesting to look around. We did, however, expect that it would look like it did when it was abandoned and that the pews would still be in situ but we found several tables set up like a village fete - some with honey and jams for sale and some with plants for sale. There are some information leaflets to purchase and you can walk around the churchyard to look at the graves.
Disappointed that more of the village does not remain but we are pleased we managed to visit the church.
