Salisbury is real interesting town, very old and quaint with a fine Cathedral and grounds but the main reason of us going there was to see our very old friends.
Cathedral view was built at the latter part of the 17th century. We had a front twin bedded room which overlooks the Cathedral. We thought it would be noisy because it also faces the main road, but it wasn't. The room had a tea and coffee making facility and as for the 'home made' biscuits made as I understand by Wenda, were something to die for!
Our 'hosts' Steve and Wenda proved to be very knowledgeable and explained all there was to see and do in Salisbury.
We had a special evening with our 'friends' in a local restaurant the name was provided by Steve, another one of his special favours! All in all a wonderful time was had by all and our thanks go to Wenda and Steve for being wonderful hosts.
