“Worth the detour from the A303”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

This is located within Wilton House Garden Centre.  SP2 0BJ

When we travel along the A303 we find that it is worth making the 8 mile detour to have a light meal break here rather than using the places on the main road where we have never found a good one.  In summer the tables by the river are relaxing and you can take a stroll around all the garden items on display.   In winter inside is warm and comfortable and there is a play area for children.
The restaurant has a good and comprehensive 'all day' menu, but on our last visit they had run out of jacket potatoes at lunch time.  Free coffee refills are given. The staff are very helpful and quickly produced a list of ingredients when we did our usual 'allergies  check'.  Easy disabled access and free car parking.
