Yet again Karl and Nicky have surpassed themselves. This is the third restaurant of theirs that I have eaten in and I have never been disappointed. The spaghetti carbonara is the best you will ever taste in England or Italy. My husband says Karl cooks the best blue steak in the city but is top of his list for any restaurant we have eaten in for steak. Even a simple dish of goats cheese and beetroot taste amazing and is beatific presented. A starter of Scallops blows you away, the explosion of flavour is unbelievable. Then comes the dessert cabinate just where do I start. My husband says"not to be rushed". The bannoffee pie is mouthwatering but the chocolate gnash is to die for. All the staff are polite and want to serve you and enjoy being there. The manager is good with faces remembers his clientel and knows his wine. This is a restaurant to spend a couple of hours in food heaven
