Description: We would love to welcome you to our family-run restaurant and cafe and shisha garden conveniently located in the heart of Salisbury, just down the road from the rail station. Our mainly Turkish menu has something to suit everyone - with our new fast lunch-time deal which can have a taste of various countries foods for you to sample at your leisure to more refined A-La-Carte dining with an Ottoman menu which is similar to modern-day Moroccan and Lebanese cuisines in spicing and the inclusion of dried fruits and nuts in many of the dishes. We wanted to create an opulent environment similar to the hotels and palaces of the Middle-East, but without the steep price-tag. For this reason you will find, despite the rich decor, an informal eating space that welcomes all age groups and caters for most tastes. You can just pop in and have a piece of baklava (rich, sticky pastry with walnuts) or enjoy the full experience with Live BellyDancing and Traditional Music (most Fridays and Saturdays). Our large Shisha Garden is open all year and we even have Bedouin Tents for you to come and get away from it all in. We are unique and completely new concept in the dining-out experience - we will do all we can to make the best of your time with us - We are EASTERN CHILLOUT - enjoy the ride!

“Relaxing, fun evening”

We went here with friends and were in the party room at the rear of the building. We had the room to ourselves and had a fantastic time. Staff were excellent, food was good, it felt like a little piece of the med in Salisbury.

“Such a fantastic find in Salisbury”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

Fantastic food! Wonderful entertainment! Belly dancing and oud playing. The evening was even more enjoyable because the food was very different and not something we would have at home. Will definitely go back. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Chilled, we definitely were! We will book the private room with rugs and comfy seating - a real feel of the Turkish - with friends. Well worth a visit. It's good to see a restaurant that is not the run of the mill in Salisbury!

And also very cheap considering what you can eat! I had lunch here and the food is great, diversified and faithful to its cuisine!

“Amazing meal and atmosphere”
Reviewed May 23, 2014

We visited a few weeks ago now and were so impressed by everything about this lovely little restaurant. We sat in a very authentic booth with curtains and amazing decor and crockery- just a lovely place to sit. The menu is very extensive but the owner Emra was more than happy to explain it to us and gave us some excellent suggestions, the food was delicious, the wine very reasonably priced and overall excellent value for money.
If you fancy a relaxing drink in the garden after, they even have shisha pipes which finished our evening off perfectly. A lovely family run restaurant that I can't recommend high enough!! Will definitely be going back even though we live in southampton.

“Great food, great experience!”
Reviewed May 22, 2014 via mobile

Having never been to a Turkish restaurant before, I was really impressed with this place.
Our waiter was Emra who was fantastic.
We had a mezze to start which was lovely-each bit was explained and the bubaganush was amazing! My friend does not eat gluten so they gave us gluten free breads, advised of everything that contained nuts as I have a nut allergy and 100% accommodated us.
Emra was very helpful with our meal choices and we were not disappointed.
It was great value for money - £37 for us both as it is £10 a course during the week.
My only criticism is the length of time between courses.
They have an outdoor area with bedoin tents for couples, cushioned areas and an area to enjoy shisha.
Not necessary to book during the week but necessary on a weekend.
We were warned that they have belly dancers at weekends and so it would be louder than normal.
We will 100% return!
