Description: We would love to welcome you to our family-run restaurant and cafe and shisha garden conveniently located in the heart of Salisbury, just down the road from the rail station. Our mainly Turkish menu has something to suit everyone - with our new fast lunch-time deal which can have a taste of various countries foods for you to sample at your leisure to more refined A-La-Carte dining with an Ottoman menu which is similar to modern-day Moroccan and Lebanese cuisines in spicing and the inclusion of dried fruits and nuts in many of the dishes. We wanted to create an opulent environment similar to the hotels and palaces of the Middle-East, but without the steep price-tag. For this reason you will find, despite the rich decor, an informal eating space that welcomes all age groups and caters for most tastes. You can just pop in and have a piece of baklava (rich, sticky pastry with walnuts) or enjoy the full experience with Live BellyDancing and Traditional Music (most Fridays and Saturdays). Our large Shisha Garden is open all year and we even have Bedouin Tents for you to come and get away from it all in. We are unique and completely new concept in the dining-out experience - we will do all we can to make the best of your time with us - We are EASTERN CHILLOUT - enjoy the ride!

“Felt we were in Turkey!”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

A bitterly cold February evening but were soon warmed by the welcome we received at this restaurant. We have been to Turkey many times and the food here was as good if not better. We shared a large meze starter which was really authentic with a wide selection of flavours. Main courses were just as good. An extra bonus was the friendly staff who were more than happy to chat to us between courses. Were shown the outside area with casual seating and little tents for relaxing in so hope to come back in the summer. In a street full of ethnic restaurants this can't be beaten.

“A very warm welcome and fantastic food”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Brilliant mezze to start, delicious selection of mains and we were very well looked after. Atmosphere a bit limited purely because it was a wet weekday in February and we were the only table there. We will definitely be back.

“What a great place!”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Simply a lovely place. A great welcome was followed by an awesome Meze starter and a really tasty lamb dish recommended by the owner. The decor and ambiance is just like stepping into a little bit of Turkey. Ill be going back! 2 beers and more than enough food all for £25. Excellent.

“Shut your eyes & you could be in Turkey”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We went for the help-yourself buffet lunch, having had it highly recommended. The place was nearly empty, so we had plenty of chat with Emre. He loves it if you've been to Turkey and can talk about it. The buffet salads/mezes were excellent, and we had hot pitta bread to go with them. There were three mains: a quite classy creamy chicken pilav, a good beef pilav, and a mixed vegetable dish; all very enjoyable. For dessert, we paid extra for rather small but top-quality, home-made by Emre's mother, baklava; as good as any baklava I've had in Greece or Turkey. And then you get tea or coffee thrown in; all for £5.50.
Decor is Turkish kitsch; fun for a meal out, but I couldn't live with it. Turkish music was playing. We'd go again very happily (if we didn't live 300 miles away).
