I was recommended to this place by a customer of mine and it was worth travelling for. A warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and furniture I wanted to take home. Lots of interesting things to look at while you wait for your food ( about 5 minutes ) I had delicious brie with grapes and gorgeous bread and yes the cheese scones were fantastic. Go, just go and then spend an hour in the antiques emporium below. Perfect.

You must walk up three flights of steep stairs to the top of the antiques centre to reach this charming, family run cafe. Brenda and jess always give a warm welcome to all the customers, whether returning regulars or first time visitors. There is a good selection of home baked goods. My absolute favourite is the cheese scone. It is toasted and buttered, and always reaches the table still warm. All of the furniture is different and there is an ever changing selection of art and antiques displayed for sale.
