Description: Having opened in 1594 we are a traditional British pub with original beams and open fires. We serve food between the hours of 1100 and 2100 daily with waiting service available in our upstairs Dining Room. We can accommodate private functions, tour groups and buffets in our Dining Room. With highchairs available we are baby and child friendly and can provide colouring pencils and books to keep the little ones entertained whilst the adults relax! We also have dog biscuits free for all the pooches we allow into the pub. There is a large seating area on the Market Square which is perfect for the summer time to relax and watch the sun go down. We have a wide selection of drinks including local ales and Fuller's very own London Pride which are incredibly well kept. So, drop us a visit and see what we have to offer for yourselves!

“Great food and relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We visited The Ox Row on Sunday 17th March, whilst meeting up with my parents in Salisbury. The food was great, portions just right but the service made our visit. Arron was friendly and attentive but also had a great sense of humour. We will definitely be visiting again.

“Fantastic service recieved”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We visited the Ox Row inn on Monday 11th March, whilst on holiday from new zealand.
We dined in the upstairs area of the pub and had a fantastic experience.
The young lady with red hair serving us was so attentive and really made us feel welcome. She had great knowledge of the menu items and helped us decide what we were to eat.
A credit to your buisness.
The food was fabulous and atmosphere was perfect.
Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!

“Under new management by Fullers.”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Wow, what a difference a new owner can make. This pub has just reopened and has had a total makeover from the bar area to the restaurant above. It is now a Fullers Brewery managed pub which had 6 of there real ales on sale. The décor suites this traditional local pub completed in a typical Fullers style and now with the two real fires burning were welcome sight on such a cold day. Good luck to Jason and his crew. I will be back shortly to try another of their great ales in the Fullers range, hope they are able to keep this choice going. Have rated the food very good from what I saw being served and the clean plates being returned.

“Wow - Salisburys newest pub!”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Visited with my wife on their opening night after Fullers have purchased and completely refurbished the property. There are three fires, original beams. Comfy seating and welcome atmosphere. There was six real ales on tap. Upstairs is a very beautiful dining room, but you can order food and specials downstairs in the bar too. The toilets were very clean and upmarket.

The menu serves classic pub fare; I enjoyed the seafood platter which came on a wooden board with cod goujons with London pride batter, smoked mackerel, trout pâté and smoked salmon.

The staff are mainly new but were friendly and caring. I'm sure they will do very well .

“The burger!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012 via mobile

Not only does the pub make you feel at home while drinking a pint, the food is incredible as well...
I had the burger and the fries with cheese! And what meal!

The wooden walls, creaky floors and friendly patrons make this place a must! At last for a order of cheesy fries!
