Lookingfor a reasonably priced place in Salisbury in summer is not easy. What we found at Websters was an absolute gem at a very reasonable price.
My friend and I stayed for three nights in order to watch Sunderland play at Southampton and do some sightseeing. On arrival, we were given a map with half a dozen of Salisbury's finest alehouses and advice on which beers to drink by the male half of the management team
The room was superb, the breakfasts individually cooked and the warmth and friendliness of Veronica (Ronnie) and John, the owners was unbeatable. We were able to share a pint or two with him at The Duke of York, a ten minute stagger from Hartington Road.
Heartily recommended- if Sunderland draw Salisbury City in the cup, we will be there in a flash.

Room Tip: The one near the Breakfast Room is a good one.

My husband and I stayed at Webster's this past August while visiting the south of England. Though we arrived early, we were welcomed graciously, and allowed to drop off bags. After we returned from sightseeing, we slept well in a clean, comfortable, well-outfitted room, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a sunny, cheery, well-lit breakfast room the following morning. We left happy and with our bellies full.

From arrival to departure we were treated with excellent care and attention. Our room was well equipped and spotless. John & Veronica local knowledge and advice was of the highest standard. We were made to feel at home and the location is ideal situated just outside the town and took about 10 minuets to walk into the centre. Within the hotel was plenty of information for the area and our hosts were there to advise when required. Breakfast was excellent all freshly cooked and plenty too.

Located about a ten-minute walk from the railway station. We had a ground-floor room with our own bathroom. We felt that although it was a perfectly nice place to stay, it was more expensive than other comparable places.

Beautiful rooms in a wonderfully maintained building. John and Veronica are truly kind people, and are more than happy to help you find your way around Salisbury and the neighboring areas. As vegetarians, my wife and I were thrilled that they had such a delicious option for a vegetarian English Breakfast. Great location, super easy walk to the downtown area, and plenty to do in the area.

The next time we visit Salisbury, which I know we will, we will be staying here again. Thanks to both of you, John and Veronica! You made our honeymoon truly special.
