“Comfortable & Welcoming”
Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

An excellent choice as very comfortable, clean and welcoming B & B. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Recommended the Victoria & Albert local village pub for our evening meal. Traditional English thatched pub with real fire, wonderful ales & food.

Just stayed for one night during visit to Salisbury and Stonehenge. Room was spacious and spotless and we received a very warm welcome even though it was our first time. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. On the evening we walked into Salisbury which was around a 25min walk and had a look round the Cathedral and had a drink in the New Inn. If we go to the area on another visit we would have no hesitation to stay here again and would recommend Cricketfield to anyone.

Stayed for one night. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Shared all directions for sites and
directions. The full breakfast was wonderful served in a very inviting dining room. Great value
for being so close to Stonehenge. Would return for sure.

Stayed here for one night on a works xmas do in december 2012. The room was really big, lack for nothing and was really quiet. Nice touch of xmas cake on the coffee tray. Breakfast was good too. Paid £70 so wasn't the cheapest but would happily go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Cricket Field House. The staff was welcoming and very helpful and the accommodations were lovely. Our breakfast and service were great! We only stayed one night during a whirlwind tour of the area which included Stonehenge but our room was comfortable with a very "homey" feeling. It almost felt like we were family. We would definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future. The only drawback was coming back from our area tour late in the evening (around 11:30pm or so) and the parking spaces were fairly full. We did squeeze into a space so life was good.

I was here for a two week training course using the conference facilities as well as the accommodation. The staff were fantastic, helping myself and the other delegates make the most of our non study time and willing to recommend restaurants as necessary. They quickly learnt our preferences and made extra refreshment supplies available at short notice.

Room Tip: The annex has very well appointed rooms. I saw 1 bed room in house that was a comfortable twin room...

Spent a weekend here with my wife at the end of October. It is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious and well kept. It also had a big sofa. All that was missing was a big log fire (not a critiscism). The bathroom was a good size too. We could have easily stayed here a few more days. The place is family run and they were warm and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was really good. Cannot fault this place.
