Description: Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent café group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Salisbury opened in one of Salisbury’s most historic buildings, the Old George Inn which dates back to 1314. It would be hard to overstate the historical significance & pedigree of this Grade 1 listed building. William Shakespeare is believed to have performed one of his plays in its courtyard, Oliver Cromwell slept here on his way to join the army, Samuel Pepys wrote about the Inn in his diary after a stay & both H G Wells & Charles Dickens made mentioned of it in their writings.

Boston Tea Party is a regular haunt of mine, but took my husband for he first time for lunch on Saturday.

They have recently changed their menu, so there seems to be less choice than before. Nonetheless, my husband and I both ordered pulled pork baps, one pot of tea and an apple juice. At just under £20 for the lot, it seemed fairly steep, but the pulled pork was amazing! It came with gherkins an red cabbage inside, and homemade coleslaw ad a huge mound of fries on the side. The fries are almost like fish and chip shop chips, much better than the ones they serves previously.

I've never had a bad experience in here, and we will be returning shortly for more pork!

Popped in for lunch while visiting Salisbury. Looks very small and ordinary but the menu looked different. The Pulled pork soft bap with shoestring fries and coleslaw was the best hubby has ever had. @='Absolutely delicious' and massive portion. The Club Sandwich was very good, plenty of crispy bacon and tasty chicken with plenty of salad. Really good lunch. Good variety of drinks. The place is massive as it is in an old hotel that has retained many of the age old features. A very comfortable place to spend a couple of hours.. Would highly recommend and we will be going back when we're next in Salisbury.

Visited the shop today with my wife, two drinks, a medium sized mocha and a small cappuccino, cost nearly £5!
We were looking to have lunch there but a toasted sandwich, which was our choice, was again nearly £5.
After sitting down to wait for our drinks they were left on the servery to get cold and not brought to our table.
The table was dirty and the floor area around it had not been cleaned for some time and was disgusting.

Will definitely be a while before visiting again.
