Description: Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent café group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Salisbury opened in one of Salisbury’s most historic buildings, the Old George Inn which dates back to 1314. It would be hard to overstate the historical significance & pedigree of this Grade 1 listed building. William Shakespeare is believed to have performed one of his plays in its courtyard, Oliver Cromwell slept here on his way to join the army, Samuel Pepys wrote about the Inn in his diary after a stay & both H G Wells & Charles Dickens made mentioned of it in their writings.

Went on a Sat for coffee with my daughter who ordered a banana smoothie luckily the guy serving us did mention it was made with peanut butter which she can't have! The coffee was good and the brownie was lush very rich not for the faint hearted! The top floor space is great really interesting old beams and stuff. Very comfy laid back surroundings, the staff were friendly and the service good. The menu is tempting though didn't have a meal here, I have eaten in other BTPs and food is very good. There is seating outside if you want to soak up some of the Salisbury atmosphere.

Fantastic service and food. Sat outside and enjoyed the Salisbury laid back atmosphere.
I had the pulled pork wrap and my wife had the burger, both delivered within 15 minutes and freshly made, washed down with a great latte and tea.
The staff gave me a choice of teas that were all freshly brewed in the pot. The coffee was not bitter, the latte creamy and smooth.
Pricing is very reasonable and for the quality of the food and level of service it was great value for money.
It was refreshing to find that the staff were able to recommend teas and coffees to accompany the food and all the staff were friendly and attentive.

One of my frequent haunts, never have coffee (or tea!) anywhere else when in Salisbury. The coffee is a delight but the tea is even better. They have their own house blend which arrives in a large teapot with strainer and is delicious. The cakes are lovely; and a good selection of breakfast alternatives on offer. Do look round the amazing building - the owners have preserved and enhanced a really special place

Sat outside in the humid weather this morning and had tea and coffee on the high street. Good quality americano's and quick service for latte and cappuccino. Strong tea advised to let brew for 4 minutes but a little strong for my wife who drinks it black. Looked like a good selection of pastries and cakes - we had the small portugese tarts (name escapes me) but were delicious. Friendly and quick service - around £7 for a medium latte, tea and two tarts which is par for the course. Didn't like the unisex loos but a sign of the times and I am old fashioned!

A lively popular coffee place but make sure you explore the whole place to see the incredible architecture of this Grade 1 listed building.
