This is a stylish restaurant that serves excellent food, unusual sometimes, with friendly and competent staff. We've had long, leisurely, enjoyable lunches here several times. It's hard to fault it. The restaurant is light and not cramped. The waiters know what they're doing and the meals come in good time. The food choice is different and it seems to come consistently well prepared and served. For example, just today I had steak tartare (minced raw beef) for starter and it was tops, packed with herbs , garlic etc, generous and super-tasty. I followed with fish pie (er, Fish Parmentier) which again was bursting with flavour. Not for the first time, I finished with iced berries and white chocolate sauce, quite sensational. I asked for an off-dry white wine that wasn't too young, and that's exactly what I got. The restaurant isn't cheap (although it is competitive), but it's so worth it for this great experience. We lingered for more than 3 hours and went home happy.
