Taylors Guest House is without doubt the best I have stayed in. All new, the rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard with lovely extra touches like fresh flowers and yummy home made biscuits. The breakfast on offer was vast - various cooked, cereals, continental, fruit etc etc. All the ingredients used are of a very good quality and expertly cooked and presented.

The Guest House is also in a great location, with a bus stop right outside the front door that takes you into the centre of Salisbury in 5/10 mins.

Kay and Steve Taylor may be new at this game but are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. They make it seem as though they have been doing it for years!

Thanks for your wonderful warm welcome and we will definitely see you again.

Taylors Guesthouse is an amazing find in Salisbury. Both the quality of the accommodation (new and beautifully decorated) and the warm welcome of the owners, combine to make this B&B an outstanding value. Having stayed in numerous B&Bs while traveling in England, I can say without any reservation, that I was very fortunate to have found Taylors Guesthouse. Kay and Steve are most gracious and I thank them both for a wonderful memory!

We found Taylor's Guesthouse through the Salisbury Tourist Information Centre and it turned out to be a very good referral. It's only been open for less than 3 months and everything is new, clean and modern including the bathroom which is thankfully has normal plumbing and not the strange little shower heater/water flow boxes so beloved by the English. The room was a good size with plenty of storage for our suitcases, tea making facilities, comfy bed with quality furnishings. Kay and her husband were the perfect hosts, helpful but not obtrusive and breakfast was excellent. We had a room facing the main road but with the double glaxed windows, noise wasn't a problem - could be different if the weather is hot and you want the windows open. As reported by others, the only downside is the lack of off street parking.

Happy to recommend. Owner is very helpful and attends to all the details. We had a lovely time having a chat over breakfast and then enjoying our stay in Salisbury. While the guest house is just out of town centre, there is a lovely path along the river which is within easy walking distance to shops and pubs. Salisbury is a wonderful place and the guesthouse makes a good place to stay while there.

The Taylors have designed their rooms with comfort and practicality in mind. The little extras were such a nice touch - especially the cookies for the road!
They know the area well, and were so helpful. The walk from the B&B along the river to the centre of town is beautiful. We got to visit some horses in the field - even fed them (my advice - pick the grass, not the nettles!) The river had all kinds of birds to see - we were at the right time for watching baby ducks trying to keep up to mom & dad. We wouldn't have had any idea if not for Steve's offer.
Our only suggestion would be to take the bus from the train station. We walked, but with luggage, and going up hill, it was a bit much.

My husband and I only stayed one night but it was enjoyable. Kay was a excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated as was the whole guest house. The food was also excellent. the only drawback was the lack of off road parking. This guest house is highly recommended. By the Smy's xx

Our stay was lovely and the Taylors are very nice people. The rooms are new, perfect and the breakfast was wonderful. Also the house is quite near to the city center, so we had a wonderful time there!
