Very disappointed with the afternoon tea that we experienced, quality not great, I do not expect or want pizza slices with an afternoon tea at the expense of the sandwiches which you did not even get a full round and sadly cakes padded out with croissants. We where told the scones where cheese when they where not and we then had to ask for jam & clotted cream to go with them. Poor quality and have to say that the lounge is a very tired and depressing place to have afternoon tea.

Nice little hotel, bags of charm and really friendly staff. The hotel is an old coaching house and looks like it was built in the 1700's, as such the floor are very creaky and any late night people passing by your room may keep you awake. However, highly recommended as a classic piece of old England.

Was here for the week for business. Hotel was nice and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice of continental, full English, or some other choices such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I had room service one night and the steak was good, although the amount of food was quite small for the price.

Overall very pleasant, and in a good location. I will go back if here again.

We live in Salisbury part of the time and are 'doing' all the pubs. This is No. 19 on our list! Was expecting it to be very pricey but had a nice surprise that a real ale pint was 3.45. Cosy gas log fire and free wifi. Only complaint was no crisps or nuts ;-( Can't say anything about accommodation but a Best Western so expect it is as you'd expect. Location wise you cannot do better.
