“A singularly beautiful cathedral...”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Definitely a must-see if you're in the region. Historically and aesthetically engaging... spacious close and iconic spire. We had the additonal privilege of attending an evening choral concert (Ex Cathedra) as part of Salisbury's International Arts Festival. A magical evening.

“Magnificent”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

If this is what you came for there is no dissapointment in this English treasure. Just walking around gives a feel of all of the History - I would add that the "retired" St Marys Church at Tidworth South, which is also open to visitors approx 10 miles out of town, continues the theme and is unique in many aspects.

“Go up the spire!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Join the spire behind the scenes tour. Interesting guide, see how the cathedral was built and a fantastic view at the end. If you have read Pillars of the Earth this is a tour for you. Brings medieval cathedral building to life. 300 plus steps up and down are not for the feint hearted! Well worth it.
