13 of us went to Revolution for a cocktail making class as part of our hen party package. We waited downstairs for 15 minutes until everything was ready for us. If I'm quite honest I didn't really have high expectations for this activity I thought we would have little to drink and it wouldn't have been worth it. HOWEVEr... It was brilliant! We all loved it! Our host was funny, charming, polite, knowledgable and I walked away thinking it was such an amazing activity!
I will try and be as brief as I can, we were all given stickers to give each other naughty nicknames. We had to call each other by these names or we wouldn't be punished with a chilli shot! We were given strawberry daiquiris on arrival and a vanilla shot. The barman named Josh was great and taught us a few facts about the cocktails he made. We passed them along and tried them. We played a few games which I won't spoilt for you but they were really funny and we laughed a lot. Then we were given a hot buffet of onion rings, wedges, chicken strips, salsa, nachos and dips.
The food was hot, fresh, and a good portion between us all.
We had such a good time and would consider going back!

As always in a Revs Bar it took ten minutes to get served and it was not busy so not the best start.

Finding a waitress is akin to finding a needle in a haystack.

Order finally placed and received but we were never checked on. Empty plates were still on the table when we paying 30 minutes after we had finished. The service was poor and it was not busy, luckily we were not in a rush.

Food was average, more style than substance. I had a whole 6 prawns on the Prawn and Chorizo Flat Bread and I recall finding two shavings of Chorizo amongst the greenery. The flat bread was actually more like a thick crust pizza base. It was really over priced. If your after a light bite then id recommend Zizzis or Cafe Rouge round the corner.

I think the Revolution should stick to what they do best selling vodka.

We did a cocktail making class in the rum bar! It was fab!! The bar man was great at showing us how to make the cocktails and it was really good fun. We got food platters which were okay but would have been better enjoyed at the end of the class.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon full of hen parties and stag do's so did not expect much but was surprised the bar is pretty spacious and modern staff very attentive and food was pretty nice had the haloumi flat bread and chips and it was brimming with peppers onions cheese and a no of other toppings really filling wine was nice but they could not find a menu so ordered without knowing the price but all in all no nasty surprises , definitely would go again for lunch with friends

arrived in the sun and found a nice table at lunch time Saturday , unfortunately it all went pear shaped from that moment on . we browsed the menu for food while trying to attract the waiters attention without shouting , so we could order a beer and a coffee, before our food. This took just short of 10 mins to get the guys attention, he asked if we were ready to order food when he eventually made it over to our table , but we asked if we could have our drinks first and order the food in 5 mins. Another ten minutes later still no drinks , we mentioned this yet again , and gave them a couple more minutes, until we decided to get up and walk away. The majority of waiter service bars/ restaurants meet and greet upon arrival or at least take your drinks order within a few minutes ..... very poor service in 2013
