“Poor procedures”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2014 via mobile

I went tonight with my fiance and daughter. My daughter found in her coconut korma a hair which seems to have come frim a body not head. We wanted to make a complaint to be told the manager was not in. 5 mins later the manager seemed to appear from nowhere. We were told that our meals would be free. We insisted on making an official complaint to be then told to stay as the police would be coming. After agreeing to wait as they had called bluff were were told yo leave the premises. Very dissapointing customer service. No hair nets were being wore either by any of the staff preparing the food. Will stick to cosmos, aagrah and origin 7. All have more choice of food. Better quality and always excellent service.

“Great all you can eat buffet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2014

We visited the Spice Quarter on a Monday lunch time. The service was excellent from the very friendly waitress and chefs.
There was a great selection of curries, rice, veg/salad, sides and fresh stir fry cooked for you by the chefs with your choice of ingredients and flavours, we would recommend the Malaysian rendang sauce.
There was also a wide selection of desserts including ice cream, chocolate fountain, cakes. We loved the milkballs and semolina.
Great value, especially on a lunch. Would visit again.

“Very nice with lots of choice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

We visited the spice quarter on a Sunday night and paid £12.95 each for the grand Sunday buffet. Visiting the establishment at 8pm we thought it would be quite busy but were shocked when there was no more than 10 people in. There was a choice of pizza, Indians, pasta, stir fry, ice cream which were all included in the price. With you being able to go back more times it was a great price and food was very nice. Have to say well worth the visit

“Always Pretty Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

I eaten here a number of times - yes its a buffet, it represents value for money the choice is great and the Indian cuisine has always been good to very good. Everything is tasty and the staff are attentive, the choice is great - although carrot halva on the desert menu would be a real plus.

It not an exceptional indian restuarant but is always enjoyable and tasty. What more could you want!!!!!

“Quite disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2014

I was quite excited to try another buffet restaurant in Leeds, especially when I had a voucher from Pink Gorilla with an offer 2 for 1. Although I cannot fault the service - all the staff were very courteous, cleared the plates in a timely manner and delivered the food on order to your table, I was really disappointed with a very small choice of the dishes and also quality of certain items. Comparing to other buffet places in Leeds such as Red Hot Buffet and new Cosmo, Spice Quarter has around a quarter of the meal choices. Especially the starter section was not really good ...just few salads without sign-age so we were not sure what was on our plate....one type of bread which was really hard...Mains were not too bad but absolutely no healthy option and I could not help comparing the selection to other buffets which charge the same amount...

Desserts consisted of ice cream, rice pudding, jelly, 3 types of cake, candies and chocolate fountain with marshmallows and fruit...Everything was tasty but again, the low selection let it down...
