To be fair, the restaurant on the top floor of Harvey nics is good but there are better in Leeds, the food is nice so is the service, the price is high but then you expect it because of where it is, but all in all Good!

“Excellent Mother's Day lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Following on from a fantastic visit to the HN Brasserie in Manchester, I decided to book lunch for my mum and I to celebrate Mother's Day.

A little pricey, yes, but it was worth it for a special occasion. The food was delicious and the menu interesting. The restaurant had such a good atmosphere to it too - a great buzz without it being too noisy!

I can't wait to return once the refurbishments have been done.

“Good food in contemporary surroundings...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

You'll always get a certain class of people who dine to be seen rather than for a gustatory experience. There's no shortage of those "sorts" in Harvey Nicks but if you can resist the temptation to mock these charisma free bores you'll have a good time at this light, bright and friendly contemporary restaurant situated next to the foodhall on the top floor.#

Food is served promptly from an open kitchen and whilst not even close to rivalling the likes of Anthony's it is more than competent at a relatively decent price. The menu is varied and ranges from standard brasserie type dishes to seasonal specials. For the best examples of what Fourth Floor can offer I always try to select from the a la carte menu rather than fixed 2 or 3 course specials.

There is a pre-dining wine bar adjoining the eatery and the wine list is good - with an empasis on big drinking value for money wines - the Argentinian Malbec being a good example at a competitive price.

It's not hard to while away a couple of hours or so in good company in this accomodating space.

“Top notch breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2013

Service, food quality, flavour, presentation and atmosphere are all first class. The eggs Benedict is made with really good Spanish ham. The breakfast normally has sausage but my wife has coeliac disease so she had a second egg instead. They were able to provide her with toast made with gluten free bread, Worth a trip to Leeds for this alone

“Best Restaurant in Leeds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

The food, the service the ambience of the restaurant cannot be faulted. Fabulous setting, especially in the summer when you can eat out on the balcony. The service is second to none, attentive but not obtrusive. The menu although small is always full of interesting combinations.
