basic hotel but clean and everything we needed when in Leeds for a night out. there is no parking at the hotel but they can give you a discounted rate at a nearby car park about a 10 minute walk away. close to the city centre and good to use as a base. good value for money around £30 or less for a room for the night.More
This is usually the hotel of choice for me and my friends when we stay in Leeds for a night out. The rooms can sleep 3 people if needs be (1 double bed with single bunk bed overhead) for a very cheap rate (we used to pay just £25 for the room mid week or £35 at a weekend! Bargain).
Rooms are very basic, but comfortable with flat screen TV and are clean. Shower is in the room itself which I always find a bit odd. Never had any trouble sleeping due to noise despite being in the city centre and on a busy road. Great location - 2 minute walk from the bus/coach station and only 15 minutes from the train station. Near all shops (and bars!) Staff we have encountered have always been helpful ("Raoul's Palace").
Don't come here if you're expecting more as it is very budget but ideal if you're not planning on spending much time in the room and are using it as a base.

I think that kettle and small wardrobe would make it more attractive. Also lack of ventilation makes the room little bit damp. Air conditioning does not help here as I prefer a fresh air...

stayed here for a shopping trip with my daughter and can say it was value for the price, location was excellent; we walked from the train station, and the shops were so close to the hotel. Found the staff very approachable and friendly and the room was as expected for the price, it is as it says a budget hotel but found it comfortable and clean. will be using this hotel again later this year.

Location pretty good confusing to find if you've never been to Leeds before however local to the shops (which Leeds has plenty of). Close to the docks where you can pick up a ride on the canal or just pop to Tesco.
The hotel staff werent the most enthusiastic people on the planet. When we arrived they were sat talking amoungst themselves and it took them a good minute to ask what we needed. We were then given our key so took the lift to our room. The room was on the back of the hotel probably better due to the fact there's a busy road on the front. The room itself was fairy small (double) the bathroom not being a separate room to the bedroom could be a little awkward if just with friends however it serves a purpose. Everything was clean and as you would expect and the TV was good too! Only other thing is the mattress well .. foam on the bed is slightly uncomfortable doubt I would have managed more than the 2 nights.
About an hour after checking in we asked at reception for more pillows to which I was told they would be brought up soon, 3 hours later I was still waiting. Went back to reception to be told "I havent forgot but could you give me your room number again?" eventually a good 45 minutes later they were brought to us.
Other than that main issue the hotel was average, some guests were very noisy slamming doors all night and smoking which you could smell as soon as you left your room, thus not being the hotels problem. For the cost of the stay was pretty good but would probably choose elsewhere in the future.

The rooms are very basic, but you get what you pay for and they are very clean and modern. Stayed 2 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The down side is that thee is no hot breakfast in the mornings, but there are plenty of places nearby. also if you want a hot drink it is from a pay machine in the bar/cafe. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE PRICE GUARANTEE. BOOK IT ELSEWHERE CHEAPER. There is a price guarantee with Ibis, but if one little thing is different. eg. The room can be the same the stay can be they same, but if there is any tiny thing different in the conditions of booking, It may be no charge to cancel. They will not honor it, so book else where and get it cheaper still.
