Where does a family including a coeliac, vegan, vegetarian and standard meat eater get a brilliant meal in Leeds? The answer is easy. Tharavadu. Amazing choice with difficult decisions to make because there are so many appropriate options. The Veg Express lunch had three different curries, pickles, chutney, rice and masala and a large crispy dosa cooked to perfection. The tastiest thali I have eaten in UK. I chose this because it was too difficult to opt for just one curry. Others in the group were equally pleased with their ample and full of flavour curries. Full of spice without over powering heat. Taste not temperature. All staff very friendly and knowledgeable and pace of meal was just right.
Always seems busy but not rushed. Pre booking is recommended. Wheelchair accessible. A return is planned soon.

We ate here as a group of 3 and found the service very friendly and attentive. The menu choice is very wide and has some interesting Kerala dishes.
Some of the main courses are a little pricey otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

The restaurant has an immense variety of food from south India, specifically from the state of Kerala, which is difficult to find even in India. Food is good, and their payasam is just like back home, very, very good. The service was very good, even though it was so busy and waiters were running here and there all the time. Not a lot of vegetarian options, though (as is usual in Kerala itself). The food is a bit pricey though.

Good Food and reasonably proceed compared to other Indian restaurants which are rated so highly. The place offers good North Indian and South India cuisines. Book in advance as the place is quite popular and gets crowded.
