We visited on a hot day, this was a bit of a mistake as the temps were over 100 in there, whoops!! Apart from that had a nice time, meerkats, parrots, fish, ducks, butterflies, etc.. Good for families, and has lovely gardens. Tip, take picnic, drinks, flask, etc.. as shop and cafe is rather pricey!!

Try taking a visit without kids on a school day, it's a bit of a conveyor belt at weekends and holidays. Take your coat off and spend time in the super hot butterfly house it's another world.
Great place for the kids to go during the hols, lots of animals you can feed the fish its great value, even though they charge a fortune in the gift shop but there's no pressure to buy anything, the grounds are lovely so you can take a picnic and its near to Roundhay Park aswell, Just don't expect your lovely hairstyles to come out like you went in ladies and gents the humidity in there will sort that out :D!!
A great place to visit. Lots of rooms and exhibits. Well laid out and cared for. A fantastic thing to do as an adult or with children.
Perhaps a little extra cleaning need to be perfect

Not the biggest and best wildlife place I've visited, but certainly the best value.
There's plenty to see and it's very well presented/laid out. At £3.40 an adult you can't go wrong for an hour or so.
One word of advice though, bring a vest and some shorts!
