Had an excellent time, the kids had a lot of fun, we had a relaxing walk amongst the lake and we enjoyed the ice cream.

This park is great for a gentle stroll or spending a full day with a picnic —weather permitting. There is a good sized lake with plenty of ducks to feed,in winter it’s quite muddy around the lake best to wear wellies. There is a small children’s playground and also a cafe serving hot drinks and snacks, the cafe is advertised as mother and baby friendly but my daughter had to change my granddaughter on the bathroom floor— not ideal. The park has lots of open grass space plus nice wooded areas.

Wether you are enjoying a walk on your own or taking the children to let off steam it is Ideal. There is a choice of places to eat and two lakes. If you are up to a relaxing but competitive game there is the crown green bowling green to enjoy.

Roundhay Park has 2 lakes both of which are wheelchair & pushchair accessible as all flat walking. It’s beautiful scenery with lots of parking. There is a nice children’s playground. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the many views this park has to offer. There is a lovely cafe which overlooks the lake. Lots of choices on the menu from meals to lovely cakes & scones. We had the smoked salmon sandwich & a scone both delicious. Good service.
