I visited many times last year and I always enjoy walking around the park, whatever the weather. They have a fantastic range of plants there, plenty of wildfowl as well. It's a lovely relaxing place. Good for walking dogs, if they are pretty well behaved. Also I visited there with a wheelchair user and it can get a little tricky in places, but most of the paths are accessible. There also mobility scooters for hire, and a nice little plant shop.
The cafe is a little pricey but usually is in these places, however the food is great. It tastes nice, it's fresh and there's plenty of choice, the staff are all very friendly as well.
