We visited San Lucus last night for our Staff party.

It was just great: food, service and atmosphere.

The food was excellent: fresh and different from all the average standard tapas, everyone was well impressed.

Service attentive and friendly.

Excellent value for money too.

We work in a restaurant and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we had a great time.

Thank you to chef Baggio and all the team for the great effort they put in getting our staff party right (and for letting us stay until late!)

The quality of this place is really something else.
The meats are cooked to perfection and the staff are very friendly.
It is quiet I think due to location and perhaps previous ownership was not good but now I could not recommend anywhere better.
The chefs know how to cook and are on hand to discuss the food.

The atmosphere was lovely in the restaurant and great service. The only problem was the quality of the food. I had high expectations of the tapas and it was extremely average. The food appeared to have a lack of flavour. I do hope this can be addressed as the restaurant surroundings are extremely welcoming and it would be nice to see the restaurant succeed. More flavour and better presentation are what is needed!

Went in early December for lunch with my wife and Daughter, we received a very warm greeting by the chef who was Spanish, a great start and it got better! Ordered with a little help from the Chef, every dish came hot and very tasty , in fact just like we eat back home in Alicante. One tip, the portions are large for tapas, don't over order you can always order another plate.
The only let down was a very poor selection of wine, very few of Spanish Origen except for the vey expensive bottles, in fact the batman recommended a French red, sacrilege!! They need some good La Manchas?
Overall, reasonable price, good surroundings, clean and great food.

I ate at this restaurant last night with a group of friends. The night started badly when our drinks order was completely wrong - surprising considering we were the only people in the restaurant. When we pointed out the error, the response was that the gentleman serving us was a chef and they were short staffed. We then ordered the food - a paella for two and a selection of tapas. We were told the paella would take 30 minutes to cook so we ordered some bread and alioli. The alioli was terrible - they had added mustard to it for some strange reason and it tasted nothing like the alioli I have eaten before. The main course then arrived and things went from bad to worse. The calamari was definitely frozen - it was rubbery and lacked any form of taste apart from the oil it had been fried in. The meatballs were chewy and did not taste nice. The frito mixto supposedly contained a mixture of seafood and vegetables but the only seafood we found was one prawn. The chorizo was swimming in oil, as was the paella. When asked if we had enjoyed the food, we explained our dissatisfaction with the meal, expecting some kind of apology but all we received were very defensive excuses. When we asked for a discount, all that was offered was a 10% reduction and we had to persuade him to take the calamari off the bill. Throughout the gentleman that we dealt with was very rude and did not acknowledge us when we left. Soon after leaving the restaurant, most of our group felt very nauseous and two of us even vomited. I would never ever visit this restaurant and would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place. No wonder we were the only table of punters on a Saturday evening...
