“Avoid the soft drinks...”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

brilliant food, average but good enough service.

4 pounds for a pint of pepsi is possibly the most I have ever paid, what an absolute rip. When we mentioned this to our server we were met with a blank expression and a shrug of the shoulders.

As an attempt to save money by not drinking with our lunch, The Botanist failed us rather badly as I believe I could have enjoyed many of their beers for a fraction of the cost.

“Fun and vibrant.”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Love it here. Love the location at the bottom of Trinity too as it's easy peasy to find and kind of tucked away in it's own little world. The staff are great, especially Daniel, who on our first visit made us love the place! He showed us the different herbs and concoctions of drinks and allowed us to sample them before we chose. Loved how he showed us how to make the drink. All the staff seem friendly and so much less pretentious then some of the bars 'can be' in Trinity. The food also is a great surprise. Fish and chips are amazing at a great price too. Also the hanging kebabs are lovely. Big thumbs up from me. I can go here after work looking a slob or a little more dressed up and neither matters, it's a warm and welcoming place. Think this will be a regular jaunt!

“Amazing Cocktails!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Although I have only been here once and only to try cocktails, I thought the atmopshere was great. It's different to what Leeds usually has to offer and is a nice change.
It's very central location makes it a great stop off at any point in the day. I would like to try the food as the reviews look amazing but I can only vouch for the cocktails. (Definitely recommend the blackberry mojito - it was fab!).

The atmosphere and decor is great, really nice chilled out but great vibe. I will definitely be returning!
