My daughter and I had the fillet steak, it was delicious. People have commented that the service is slow but we didn't find that at all. My only negative comment would be about the lettuce salad which comes with the steak, it was just very bland and did look like it was just thrown in the bowl with no care or attention..... We were otherwise very happy with the standard of food. If you like steak it is well worth a visit

We booked our table a good while in advance and due to our party, we were able to drop favours etc off in the afternoon. From our first phone call to our last sip of drink, the service was brilliant; friendly, welcoming, obliging and couldn't do enough for us
We ordered some lovely food and it was yummy. Unfortunately the sauce on a couple of meals was cold and the onion loaf still cold in the middle. This was a real shame as the hot meals were lovely. That said however, when we mentioned it, they cooked our meals from fresh, and offered adequate compensation. This was a situation where the way they dealt with a problem far outweighed the problem itself. Whilst this problem should have not occurred, it was handled very well
Overall I feel this restaurant could sharpen up their attn to detail in the kitchen however the food, service etc has the potential to be a great restaurant.

We dined here on a Saturday afternoon, our first visit to a Miller & Carter restaurant, and left feeling distinctly underwhelmed. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but, despite the restaurant being quiet, the service was slow and a mistake was made with our order. Our food was acceptable, but we overheard a fellow diner make a complaint about his steak. The restaurant itself lacked the buzz and atmosphere that many other restaurants in Leeds, even those that are members of chains, benefit from. We will not be making a return visit and will instead go to the excellent Fazenda, or Reds, when in need of a meat fix.

Having been before, I booked a table knowing it would be busy. We arrived and were seated next to the door. It was freezing. It was that or a table we would have only an hour seated at from 6.30-7.30.

We ordered our drinks and food when a waitress finally made their way round to us. Our starters came before our drinks (and the starters took a long time) but the food couldn't be faulted. We then had to pour our own wine.

We were left on our own for most of the meal. This was to the extent of, our empty plates sat in front of us for almost 40 minutes.

We tried to get the waitresses attention a number of times to see a desert menu but to no avail.

In the end we left, without desert or coffees and a little annoyed by the service.

It was busy. Perhaps understaffed, but I would now not recommend to others.

We dined here and ordered 2 meals, my wife's meal arrived with a human hair floating on the sauce and was taken away, then returned with a human hair on top of the steak ! They took it away again and was almost half an hour before we decided we'd waited long enough and given them ample opportunity for them to rectify their awful hygiene standards, we refused to pay for the meals as we wanted to dine together, we paid for the drinks and left the restaurant.
I had a t-bone steak and it was very average, under cooked and cool in the middle. Very disappointing and well worth steering clear of and finding a proper restaurant with a proper chef, as the prices are not cheap.
On exiting the restaurant the manager was very unprofessional and very unapologetic for what was their fault entirely. We've never felt need to complain at restaurants before this.
Awful restaurant, more a greasy cafe.
